Sheer Bliss guide to buying a bra that fits you correctly.
By following this guide to measuring you will be able to make sure that you have the right size bra. In the unlikely event that you are still unhappy with the way your new bra fits, Sheer Bliss will be happy to exchange or refund it for you with our no-quibble money back guarantee.
Remember that when measuring, there are TWO measurements to take, Back size and Cup size.
Your back size is the diameter around your chest JUST BELOW your breasts. Using the tape measure, measure around your ribcage directly under your breasts. There should be no breast tissue measured while determining your back size. The next measurement goes around the chest over and including the fullest part of your bust (usually at the level of the nipples). Sheer Bliss believe that to obtain your correct measurment you should do it without any clothing on.

If you would like to calculate your bra size yourself, then please follow the instructions below.

Add either 4" or 5" to your back measurement, depending on whether result is odd or even. If the measurement you get is odd, add 5 to make it an even number. For example, if your back size is 30 inches, you add 4 to get 34 inches, or, if your back size is 29 inches, when you add 5 to this you get 34 inches.. This is your back size, 34 inches.

Then, from your bust measurement, deduct your original back measurement (before adding anything to it) this will give you the difference needed to calculate your bra size. So for example, if your bust measurement was 34" and your back was 29" there would be a 5" difference. This would give you a bra size of 34DD. If the numbers are the same then you would be an AA.

1in. more gives Cup size A
2in. more gives Cup size B
3in. more gives Cup size C
4in. more gives Cup size D
5in. more gives Cup size DD
and so on through E, EE, FF and G

While this method is usually reliable, please remember that bra measuring is not an exact science. Due to the fact that every woman's shape is different and therefore results may vary slightly, particularly for larger sizes. It is also worth remembering that just like many other garments, different manufacturers bra fit differently.
